NaNoWriMo (+ Some Free Stickers!)
First off, I can't believe it's already November. Second, is anyone else most definitely not ready for the holidays? I mean, I'm ready for all the decorating, and the cookie baking, and the family time, and I'm always down for digging into a new 2020 planner, but it feels like it's been 2019 for only a few months!
Alas, it is what it is, which means it's November whether we like it or not. This also means National Novel Writing Month has begun, which if you don't know what that is, it's pretty much exactly what it sounds like. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people sit down to write 50,000 words during the month of November.
In case you're wondering, I've only done it one time, in 2016. I tried in 2017, but 4 days in I realized I was counting the characters, not words, and then I was so far behind I couldn't make myself finish. Which is a good example of my personality LOL.
If you're interested in learning more about NaNoWriMo, head over to their website. You can sign up for an account and track you and your friends progress, and it's honestly pretty fun to see your word count bar go up!
I created these little Word Count stickers to help you while you set off to write this month. Just click on the link below and it will bring up the file so you can save it and print out as needed! I designed them to be super easy to cut with scissors, so anyone can use them. My favorite way to attach printable stickers before I bought my first Silhouette machine was to use double sided tape!
Tag me on Instagram (@planningbyshannon) if you get a chance to use these! I would love to see and cheer you on during NaNoWriMo this year.
Side Note: These are designed specifically for the Passion Planner. The file includes the Small, Medium, and Large sizes. If you want to use them with another planner, they won't fit perfectly, but I would usually recommend the Medium size for the best fit!
